Windows 7 is a version of windows that is over a decade and a half old, please update to either Windows 10 or 11.

I have Windows 7 in a virtual machine and the game works just fine in it, if you're having those problems and is still using an old Windows I doubt your computer can even run the game
I don't know why but I lost all my progress :( I didn't mod or touch the files in any way

please make it so you can add a custom fps cap. i have a pretty old mac and it cannot handle it when the game goes up to 168. it worked fine on 60.
