im not certain, but I cant seem to access the character select menu even when changing the keybind to something other than tab it just sounds the back thing and doesn't take me to the menu
try setting your debug menu key bind (for example i set mine to 7) and then hit the key you assigned it to when your on the main menu. the character select menu is also in the debug menu so you should find it ther

This patch is pretty scuffed, the Freeplay menu requiring you to press Left or Right a bunch on the Random button selected just to find the Pico tracks again? The game is chugging pretty bad now and when you go to the character select, BF and GF's sprites are duplicated on top each other?
actully they updated how the songs on freeplay work, if you kept press right when you selection is on random i switch to the mix songs or erect songs. glad to help

Explosion pico in goggle without download is an error because i died from the explosion and says error and it dosen't show me the explosion death it shows me the knife death with a white ball.And when i press the retry button it show me pico explosiondeath and knife death at the same time.Just like 2 picos.It is really fun😂

ATTENTION: The Pico remixes are not removed from the game the update is just very buggy! Press Tab in freeplay as usual to play as Pico then remain on the Random button and switch difficulties a couple times and you'll see the Pico remixes! You're welcome
This update, actually kind of fucking sucks. I'm talking about 0.5.1, which removed almost EVERYTHING IMPORTANT about 0.5.0, like the pico mixes, either the game suddenly and for no good reason performs like ass or the songs are just bugging like hell, and the code is still unoptimized.
I get this was made for a one-week little challenge, but you gotta take TIME to fix your game, and ideally without removing most of your previous major update and making your game perform considerably worse. I really like FNF, and I really hope it has a great future, but PLEASE work on the technical side before making any more updates. Take another year to rework the engine if you have to. I dont care, I'd rather wait then have us a yandere dev situation where the game is built on a horrible foundation and is not optimized.

The fact this is never explained, partly thanks to the changelog not being updated, makes it really stupid.
You need to chill. If you have the version they released before this, play that instead. If you don't have the last version, then look online for a download or something, I'm sure you can find a safe download somewhere. And it isn't explained bc they obviously didn't intend to have these bugs. Think about things before you start hating on the devs
Of-course it isnt polished, its an unfinished game, its an open beta, its not meant to be good, its meant to be a teaser of how the game is doing and how its evolving
. Its meant to have bugs. This game has always had bugs and been iffy, i mean, look at the older builds for gods sake. The reason why the weekend 1 build was so good is because the devs had almost 3 years of preparation.
These developers aren't masters, far from it, their just a bunch of idoits having fun and making a video game for shits and giggles (and crack).

you have to go to random then change difficulty until you get to the remixes

no; it's a memory leak. open up fnf, play any level, then open up task manager. it takes it 5x the memory then discord for no good reason
