aight so one reason could be corrupted save data. you need to go to your computer's appdata folder, and if on windows, you can press the windows key and the r key at the same time to open a small menu. In said small menu, type in %appdata% and find the FunkinCrew folder. Then delete your save data.
Ik you'll have to redo weekend 1 again but at least you can use the chart editor without it dying again!

your experience isn't objective with everyone else’s, some people like myself don’t have very good pcs and cant get a 100% smooth experience even without mods installed. 0.7.x giving us from almost 2GBs of ram usage to I assume a few hundred MBs is a win for low end users

I gotchu bruh i somehow managed to get the hitbox controls code then inspiring from that coded my own hitboxes and added hitbox to the game then i recoded the arrow positioning and it started working 😃 works perfectly fine but hitboxes are invisible for some reason and idk whats in the way and why theyre not visible so you need to play on muscle memory if i didnt manage to make it visible an i’ll upload it on my page when its completed.
And maybe buttons for scrolling too (i keep accidentaly opening a song when i scroll) and maybe chart editor too and maybe ghost tapping too and maybe keyboard support too and maybe auto optimize mods too and maybe-

In the assets folder through the app's files. You might need a third party file explorer to see them, I think.
