I had this EXACT same issue just a few minutes ago, I have an AMD Radeon 560 smth, and my drivers were outdated. Update your graphics card drivers if they are outdated, otherwise, your graphics card is probably OLD. I hope this works :) I am sending this same thing to anyone else who has this problem, because I was DESPERATE for answers.
to anyone who doesn't hear sound: the game is muted by default (for some reason) press the 0 key (the default keybind for mute/unmute) to fix this if that doesn't work, use +/= to increase the volume
Story Mode mostly works now minus some crashes but there's still many bugs, such as sometimes pico just standing in the void when dying
If you look closely the animation isn't completely black, that means there's just a random moving colored box in the Game Over! It's not too bad but once you notice it you cannot unsee it (at least for me)
also I made a vid to show other stuff like sometimes the intro music Looping, along with Nene's Speaker still not working, plus the visual Game Over Bug
Glad to see how dedicated you are though! your team I know is working hard to patch and work on the game, so keep up and hope this can help you patch out more stuff :D
Well, the week and the game FINALLY work fine to me, so thank you Ninjamuffin and the funkin crew! There's still some people that doesn't can play tho, but it's better from before! The only real thing that misses from the NG version is the visual audio on nene's boombox (Sorry for my bad english), but thank you all for this update!

What do you mean? The remixes doesn't appear in freeplay? Or they crash when you try to open it? Because they are Not in the story mode, but in the freeplay like a difficulty.

use - and = to turn down/up the volume, the volume is sometimes muted upon startup

I'm pretty sure it's an issue with the application version, not the web version. I'm having the same issue, and that was the first thing I tried.

i played the whole thing thanks to this fix, and i can confirm blazin is indeed working
sometimes, sometimes not it worked when i tried it the second time but others not
game crash when I got to blazin on new build
