I played the updated version yesterday and everything worked fine besides the Nene speaker EQ visualizer, it was just flat the whole time it fully just doesn't work
common bug. that happens here. what did you do to get it? if you just directly downloaded it here idk why this is happening this should get the creators attention they should fix it in a few days
you is right ,i dont know what happend about it.but when i open it, the windows stop it work , even i allow , i still think windows broken some data (it is a possibility ).and i waiting someone face the same question and to find some same point to over it
right click on the desktop version --> click on show package contents --> click on the contents file --> click on the MacOS file --> there should be a terminal executable file named "Funkin". If you click on that it should work
Hey! I found a bug in the Chart Editor! When you resize the game window, or interact with it in a way out of the ordinary, some dialogue boxes get stuck! (In my case the metadata character selection box)
Random suggestion: Once a song's chart ends, make it impossible to miss via ghost tapping. It's nice to just spam buttons after a song ends without having to worry about dying or my score dropping.
i fixed it by clicking on show package contents, opening the contents file, opening the MacOs file and then clicking on the terminal file called "Funkin"
This happened to me because I had the game installed in the program files folder, which stops the scores.json file from being created. Moving the game to the documents folder fixed :)
This error is telling you that FNF cannot read the contents of AddColorShader.hxc, a script in the FNF files that is in "assets/scripts/shaders", do you keep the game in a place which requires administrator power to access? I guess you could test that by running FNF as admin... idk if I have the right assumption tho...
Hey i dont know if anyone else is having this issue but when i go to run the game the songs wont load and sit on the loading screen. Does anyone have a fix?

im on an old Mac and none of the versions of the game work
The desktop version crashes after loading, and both browser versions crash after loading a song

this is more of an issue with your mac and not the game.
use google chrome without any type of performance mode but as for the actual game i have the same problem on mac

The game gives me the error "open_file,./scores.json" and I don't know what it is
make a file in the .exe's directory called "scores.json" file extensions should be visible before u make them
