I don't know if it's my problem, but I've tried EVERYTHING to fix it, and the problem persists. The game was extremely slow when I connected my controller, and took many minutes to open. Is anyone else having this problem with a gamepad?
I have an apple laptop so ik what you mean. just right click the file and pick open. It will ask you if you are fine with opening it and just press open.
For all who doesn't listen the game, go to options > controls and in the section of volume, look what is the key to up or change it and put whatever you want
i think a dev highlighted this, i don't remember. but it's something i think with amd and or nvidia graphics cards of some kind. i'd suggest making a github issue on the FunkinCrew/Funkin github.

I found a few chart errors in the songs Lit-Up and 2Hot.
Lit Up:
Stacked red (right) notes in sections 38,70 - Hard difficulty
I noticed when I try to hit the note in this section it always kind of "drops" instead of being registered properly, after checking the chart I noticed that there are 2 red (right) notes stacked on each other as shown in the video (I used section 38 as an example, the same error occurs in section 70):

Some notes do not match Pico's/Darnell's Voices - All difficulties
Probably my favorite song in the week, Unfortunately it's also the most messy one when it comes to it's chart.
Here are the problems I found in the chart:
1. Some notes are placed in the wrong tile/in between tiles
while I know that in SOME songs, this is an intentional thing, but 2Hot doesn't have any 1/32 notes in the vocals, but some of the arrows are placed in the 1/32 notes, making their timing inaccurate, here's a video example:
notice that in the 2nd hit, the hit comes a bit earlier compared to Pico's (really slowed down) singing.
This happens a lot both in Darnell's and Pico's notes, in multiple sections.
This is a problem in every difficulty.
2.Split jump (double) notes in section 39 - Hard difficulty:
A little charting error occurs in section 39, there's supposed to be a jump (double) note, for some reason the left (purple) note in the 3rd jump notes is set in between the tiles instead of being in the tile itself on the same row as the right (red) note:
first of all, why is this downvoted, second, i found another thing in Lit Up. this down arrow is a bit early in section 18, which is in every difficulty
the second week is mostly based on srpelo's spooky month, the third song sorta inches into "oooooo eerie" and has a different opponent but its nowhere near being horror
week 6 has something similar with the third song being like "wow so scary" but its scary for like 2 seconds before you're either like "oh cool i like that" or thinking it's funny instead
it is absolutely not a kids game tho, its not straight up prn but its still incredibly adult
still has great music and art tho the overall vibes are fantastic
lololol need fix null reference??? open powershell, type ur file fnf in search, press ur file name and put it in powershell and type "tee log.txt" | ./Funkin.exe and done

Update on this: they fixed it in the 0.3.3 update! I tested it on my PC which has a 10-year-old AMD Radeon ATX6800 series (IIRC) and freeplay menu no longer crashes.
that is always like that although i can help you play them. in freeplay hover over any song from weeks 1-6 (Excluding Monster, Winter Horrorland, and Tutorial) and press the D key or right arrow key till it says erect in the top left and have fun. Hope this helped!
That is the freeplay song list file if im correct. that file is basically useless because its only ever said tutorial and its always been that way. The freeplay songs are stored somewhere else i have yet to figure out.
Absolutely recommended for a challenge and some quick rythm gaming. Loved the simplicity of the game combined with a toon-like story, fun animations and almost impossible levels.
Just one issue: When playing on controller, if by any chance you loose and press the right button on the right side of the controller, let's say A in switch controllers, B in Xbox and O in PS controller; even a millisecond after you've lost the match and have not modified the keys, it will close the match even if you were on the second or the last song and have to start over again. Maybe a confirmation screen like "r u sure u want to quit the match?" would be a huge plus just in case of any mistake...

This appears to be an issue specifically with AMD graphics cards on Windows. Might just have to wait for the devs to fix it :/

If you want to play remixes of songs you will have to put a javascript code into manifest.json with the week title like "Week 8"

When I download the game It doesn't have a single sound. How can we fix that or Is it just a bug
i had the same bug, turns out the game was just muted.
try unmuting the game maybe, cant remember the key tho, go look for it in the setting
The key for mute it and un-mute it is "0"
