The game lags pretty badly, especially on weekend 1, also, after the new update, there are many other glitches in the game, I thought that this was due to my low end laptop, but after reading the comments, it seems I am not the only one experiencing these issues. Good game btw.

Since 0.5.3 there is this lag that keeps ruining my score. I'm just playing the song an then there is a lil lag and the note I hit turns bad. Also I feel like every time I press "restart song" the hit detection gets worse. Everything was fine in 0.5.2. And no, trolls, this isn't skill issue.
Here are some other bugs that need fixing:
2hot is broken and unbeatable. The song just loops its last part after it ends.
In Blazin' the camera is in the wrong place after death/restart song.
In song Monster the opponent is on top of speakers.
Difficulty for Eggnog (pico mix) in freeplay is wrong.
Scroll weel is broken in all of the menus.
Sometime camera zooms out too much and you can see stuff you shouldn't.
You can hit notes (and die) in cutscenes before pico vs pico songs.
After you play an erect song the freeplay menu is a little broken.
You can switch from random erect to normal erect but you can't switch from random normal to random erect.
for linux users if you get the error "./Funkin: error while loading shared libraries: libvlc.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory " all you gotta do is open the terminal and type " sudo apt install libvlc5 " after its done opening it again (btw i am using mint)
im a pro and i can say that it has good bad hard and easy songs but in total its a good game... and im a pro means i have beaten every song with a high score

Save files are saved in a separate folder (varies depending on the OS you use) and persist even after deleting the game folder. The save file is not saved in the game directory
If a game won’t run on MacOS due to a 'damaged file' message, try this: go to Finder -> Applications -> Funkin' -> Show Package Contents -> Contents -> MacOS -> and run the Funkin' (exec) file directly. In my case, the data files weren’t corrupted.
If you're on Windows then press the windows key and R at the same time to open Run. Type in %appdata% and hit enter. Locate the FunkinCrew folder and open it. Then delete Funkin1, duplicate Funkin1000 and rename the new one to Funkin1.If you're having trouble I recommend just looking it up or asking chatgpt for help.

I saw like an error message, don't remember what it said. Idc about the save that much (it probably won't take too long to get everything back), but I just want to warn other people about it. Nevermind guys lmao. FNF makes a backup of your save called "Funkin1000", (The actual save is "Funkin1"). I was able to recover everything
